Actually this is generally not true.
No argument that compensation for some procedures is more than it should be (in relation to the work pcp's do) but I generally am paid on the same fee schedule as the primary care docs, with few exceptions.
(And not complaining, but the procedure compensation is not nearly as out of proportion as it used to be).
