Here is what I do now: (and I wish I could edit the UOM dropdown)

1. For capsules, I choose capsules
2. For tablets, I choose tablets
3. For liquids/suspensions etc., I select milliliters
4. FOR EVERYTHING ELSE, I SELECT UNSPECIFIED AND WRITE IN THE COMMENT SETION WHAT I WANT:

1. Albuterol inhaler, I put "1 unspecified", then dispense 3, then write 3 MDIs
2. For any cream or gel like HC 2.5%, I write "1 unspecified", then in the comment section I write: Largest tube available per insurance
3. For OCPs, I write "1 unspecified" 1 dose pack (I think they have pack or packet, but I don't use it

They have never called me back. If they do, I will say, what UOM should I use --- like for EpiPens they say "box" I will say yeah that.

There is no reason they can't use AI and put in the correct UOM (that can be edited). NewCrop has some very good AI. If you write Brand or DAW etc., it won't take it -- you have to write BND or BRAD.
