Paul,

With all due respect to your answer and I understand completely what you are saying, this is not remotely the issue. If I were using Word a lot and my computer was crashng 100 times per day, and my question was "How to I get Word to autorecover more often," the answer is not you need to fix your computer. I would want someone to tell me how to change the default to the autorecovery because that is my question. Certainly, having someone asking me why my computer is crashing so often and offering to help would be for lack of a better word, helpful, it is not the question.

The answre to the original question is the only way to not lose your data is to either wait on the disconnect or forward your chart often. The latter is not a good way to do it UNLESS you have written an extremely long note and you say, "Gee I do not wish to lose this note."

After much thought I see now what Brian is saying, and using that method WOULD work, but it is so far out of the realm of practicality, I don't think it would be the answer. Humans are interesting, and given the fact that it is so far out of the realm of practicality, I would never understand it. I will not in my next post explain Brian's method. smile
