I am not certain what DPCC is saying about these channels.
It is true that other wireless devices can cause interference. However I am not certain how this would affect network speed. It could affect network reliability and how often it goes down.
I do not know of any ability to change channels. Perhaps I am wrong on this, but I an not aware of this ability unless using one of the two differnt protocols 802.11a or 802.11g.
