Actually it doesn't really matter. The reality is that while Wireless is slower than Wired, it's still alot faster than most peoples' internet connections.

Let's Do A Comparison:

ISP Speeds (Download/Upload):
Standard DSL = 3 Mbit/512 Kbit
Cable = 10 Mbit/1 Mbit
T1 = 1.5 Mbit / 1.5 Mbit

Wireless (LAN) Speeds:
Wireless G (old): 54 Mbit
Wireless N: 150 Mbit+
Wireless AC: 500 Mbit

So you can see the old Wireless G is still 5 times faster than your average Cable connection.
Most people have Wireless N nowadays (G is almost gone). With cloud, your experience depends more on your Internet connection than your local network.
