JamesNT, I agree. A complete overhaul = it isn't AC anymore.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it: don't mess with what does work.
But at the same time, DO fix what doesn't.
Also be prepared for about 2 bugs for every feature enhancement, on average (an maybe reduce that by half with extensive QA).
In my development experience, I've see critical bugs arise in code that I went no where even remotely close too. Inexplicable.
