Little bit of trivia - one of the first "Dummies" authors was a classmate of mine in high school. He and I both tinkered with the mainframe; he changed grades for money, while I did stuff then backed it up (paper tape !ha!) and made it disappear while the district staff tried to find it. He got caught - I got a scolding [no evidence]. He went on to make millions, I went on to keep writing software and then complete systems.
No regrets, but I smile every time I see a "Dummies" book.
