I NEED COMPUTER SPECS BEFORE I BUY A NEW DESKTOP, PLEASE ADVICE....
With my above Computer Specs, the Eprescribe is SLOW, VERY SLOW ... Basically Nonfunctional. Yes thanks rdoc I realize I already have updated to XP service pack III.
Other Software I use on my machine, which could slow Eprescribe are -
-Windows Essentials
-Dragon NS
-Mcafee compliments from AOL paid account
- The funny part is the Med Asst's Desktop is Pentium 4 Single Core & the Epres. has not slowed down, Go Figure...
I suspect maybe I have a overload of the different software, but since they are all essential & in daily use -- I may just have to buy a more powerful/newer & faster processor Desktop.
Any suggestions of what has worked for you all may help.
A Pentium Quad core or i5/i7 Processor???? Please help.... OR any other suggestions before I purchase a new one will help. Bert's post above about the SQL etc... was not plain English for me, I could not understand it.
