We had a delay in the Labcorp interface because of their contract. Most of the stuff in there didn't bother us, but that one statement that "We could not remove their software w/o their consent" made me just lose it. I think I actually cursed at the rep (I was pretty offended).
We ended up striking it out, and adding a paragraph on the signature page stating that only the document with the initialled changes are valid (in case they wanted to substitute an unchanged page).
I held onto the contract until last week (a couple of months) before sending it back. So now we are waiting, but we tested it initially and it worked with test data.
Quite honestly, we have been quite dissatisfied with Labcorp. The rep is nice enough, but the rest of the org. seems pretty sloppy. We've even had them fail to come pick up labs after we called.
Quest had previously installed a Quest computer free for us also. To my knowledge, the AC interface is only one-directional, so we'll still use it to send lab requests.
