Thanks Chris. I was hoping you could address something. When you say back up locally, do you mean a backup that we make or the backup that AC is making.
Currently, we have the best of both worlds. We can do the offsite backup, but the same backup is stored locally. The small encrypted backup which contains only the AC information is crucial for upgrading when you need to do a backup, install the new version, restore from the .enc backup file, then use the database tuner.
So, the way it reads it is difficult to tell. I use the local backup 99% of the time. In fact, I have never had to use an offsite backup. I guess it is more like 100% then.
