BTW, did you turn off whatever internet protection program those computers were running prior to attempting to do the AC Install??? AC recommends this and many other programs seem to install smoother, faster, with less heartache and blotches when you do. Personally, I kill the internet connection as long as I can until it is time to go to the outside world to activate a program to keep the buggers off on my unprotected computer, but that's just me, I'm paranoid about such things. Once did a wipe and re-load and by the time I went to MS to get the SP and Updates, Install the Internet protection I was already freshly infected with an unremovable bugger of some sort many years ago... So I don't have unsafe internet contact with other servers if at all possible....
Anyway, kill the protection programs until the main install is done with. I wonder if that is it...
