I was upgrading from ver 5.0.29 to ver 6.0.10 an encountered this internal error 2738 when upgrading the CLIENT computers.
I had no problems upgrading the server. I was able to upgrade 2 client computers too. The server and 2 client computers were running WinXP. All of the WinXP machines are running fine but I have 3 other computers running Windows Vista. All the Vista machines are giving me the internal error 2738 when I try to run the upgrade. The error occurs right after the question "Is this your main computer ..."
I tried re-registering the vbscript.dll and I even uninstalled Amazing Charts on one computer. The error keeps arising. I noticed on the WinXP machines when they were upgrading the error is thrown at the point that the machine checks the Windows 3.1 installer. On the WinXP machines they go right through without any problems but the Vista machines throw an error.
Anybody found a way around this?
