I am going to open this for anyone to chime in.
After clicking on writing a script, it takes approximately 40 seconds before the Rx writing window appears. When starting to type in the Rx it is also very slow. Is anyone having the same issues. I am trying to figure out if it is a local problem on my end or a general problem. This to me is unacceptable to be watching a spinning circle for that long before I can write a script. Did anyone have this problem, was it fixed and what was doe to fix the problem?

I have seen intermittent delays of a 5-10 second nature, mainly with controlled substances. It seems to be getting more frequent/longer over time (have been using AC since 2018 when Soapware folded) not sure if that's related to the size of our database?
40 seconds is certainly unacceptable. Time for a support call I think.

I agree with DocMark, I have seen some slower responses lately. I have been on AC for some time, around 2009 or 2010 but don't think it is related to database. Slowness on imported probably is database size related. There has been some discussion woith AC about prescribing slowness more so with ECPS. Supposedly the next revision of Version 12 which is 12.3 is supposed t help with prescribing issues. I have not changed and am still on V 12.0.0

I am wondering if Windows 11 is the cause of the recent slowness. New computer with faster specs and increased speed on internet and still experiencing slower responses. I guess I jinxed myself because today my prescribing is in that 40 second range with Raj!!!!! Version 12.0.0

Interesting! The slowness started when I changed to a new computer running windows 11 . Had to do this because the other computer was running Windows 10..Did not have the issues when I was using that computer. Since you mentioned that I am going to try doing an Rx on the only remaining Windows 10 computer left in the office. I will report back on my findings. MRI
