I am in your situation it is me and my receptionist. I don't use reminders. What are you guys using reminders for? checking labs? etc? please fill me in as maybe this is osmething i should use at some point.
as for boondoc and the photos and patients, have a conversation with her/him and say look part of the deal is that you need to take the pic and ask or find out why she/he won't do it...being lazy isn't acceptable as that means they will be lazy in other situations.
i find that with my one staff member when i talk to her about the good things she does and then say this is an area of improvement, it works everytime.
we have a webcam but she won't take pics because we don't have a place to take them. the waiting room is directly behind where the patients check in so we can't take pics because you get other people in the background. in our new office we are going to have a spot where the cam can reach so the patient is against a blank wall.
