I have had the same problem of staff forgetting to get pictures. I solved that by having mobile (i.e, not a part of the computer itself)webcams connected to my laptops in the rooms. I can then quickly add a patient picture or capture a dermatologic or other clinical feature. You could also take the pictures yourself on your smart phone or a small digital you keep in your pocket. Then hand it to the staff and have them download them into the charts.
