I have a Fujitsu-fi6130 for scanning cards and other documents to be attached into AC patients database. This is a TWAIN compatible scanner.
When I do the scanning as a stand alone I am able to specify the black and white option and save it as pdf and the scanned document is of a small size. But when I try to do the scanning through the AC import options, it does not give me the black and white option but just the gray scale option and as a result the scanned document is of a much bigger size.
An eg. is where with standalone scanning the size of a specific document is 200KB whereas when imported through AC the size of the same document is 2.2MB. This cumulatively adds up and as a result the .enc file size is becoming really big.
So has anyone seen this issue before or can anyone point me to whether this is a scanner software issue or AC issue.
Any help is really appreciated.
