We too like using the scanner with its excellent software. It auto senses black or color, it converts to duplex if it sees double sided, and auto corrects orientation. We scan to a folder call ScanShare on the desk top. The MA names the file with the pt name. Then when the whole stack is done, she drags and drops right onto the patient charts. It works really slick and much faster than the TWAIN. I LOVE the drag and drop feature of AC!
