I am not next to our scanner now, but will check this Monday. We have the same Fujitsu and do all of our scanning "through the AC import options" (select the patient, hit "Import New", then "Import/Control your scanner") and the interface opens that allows you to set the resolution, among other things. We use 100x100 dpi, and the documents are readable. The final file size is small.
We are still scanning in large numbers of old charts, and may switch to 200x200 when we are just bringing in new, smaller documents.
Each time you do a new scan, the same dialog box opens up, but it does save the resolution setting so no settings have to be re-entered. I am not aware that we made a selection to have it work this way.
