This question is to all Techies out here..
Do you think there is any potential of Database (Sql Server) conflict when two saperate softwares i.e. AC (with SQL Express) & Lytec CLient Server version (with SQL desktop) are installed on teh same server machine?
I am not sure but is this even possible to install two of these on the same machine when these use the same database? I am just tryng to figure out if I should install these on the same machine or should I have individually dedicated machines? Your comments are appreciated greatly...Thanks!
The background story for this situation is that AC is far away from coming up with PM module and it was getting out of hand to manage accounts in Quickbooks. Coincidently a good deal came in my way that I couldn't refuse. A local Ortho had paid for the new Lytec Medical 2009 before he found out that he was gonna close his practice to join an established group out of state. He had paid $4K for 5 user C/S version that I am getting for 2K. I am not planning to link AC with Lytec using X-link though.
