This is July, and we usually ask for contributions for the board as Ruben does the behind the scenes admin (backing up the board, doing updates, making sure the board runs to perfection, etc. I pay for the hosting and follow the day to day stuff. The hosting cost, itself, is $330.

Used to be the donations to care of Ruben's work and the hosting; the last couple of years since the board activity has been down, I just pay the hosting out of my pocket.

So far it is $650 goal, $0 received.

So we are moving toward the end of July and the donations are slow. It is very important that the board belongs to use rather than AC. So, please try to help outm

We are $250 short of our goal so that Ruben is paid for his work on the board, and I get reimbursed for Blue Host who hosts the board. There are a couple of reasons we don't want to sell the board to AC which they have offered in the past. 1) they have not shown the ability to keep the board up to the newest version and running perfectly; 2) if I were to sell it to AC, you would no longer be able to say you are considering transferring to XYZ EMR, because they would delete your post (most likely). Or be as constructively critical of AC. There is one EMR called CharmHealth, who are actually pretty good where they own their board (for what its worth) and it specifically states that those posting enough negative comments will be banned from the board.

For those who have donated, I appreciate it. And the forum should appreciate it.
