When I tried the 30 day trial 6 months ago, clicking on the electronic prescribing tab in AC (within the Prescription Writer window in a specific patient's chart) connects to NewCrop. However, you still need to enter patient info/allergies for each patient at least once, then find the drug, dose, qty, refills, etc. Then you need to search for the correct pharmacy (more windows & buttons), and finally transmit. Oh, and no response on whether it was received. And at that time, you still had to return to AC to record the refill/new rx. I didn't see any way to synch the online list to AC.
I didn't sign up for the $35/month because this was such a kludgy process( no wonder you have to pay for a year up front).
Can anyone comment on the way this works, step by step, now?
