Hello NASMD,
The eprescribing has to be done from the drop down list, not the note. There are few little quirks in it-the demographics can't say Medicare A&B, it has to say Medicare A and B.
It allows you to drop the new meds into the AC list and to inactivate meds you are no longer using.
It's not double entry, just a little inconvenient. Compared to the Allscripts erx, it is much nicer. I like it becuase I can add meds to the list that I'm not sending refills for. I really like the instant refill feature.
