I also vouch for paperport. Also rec'd with my Brother MFC. I find it to be magical. Do all that Leslie does with it and have same version. In regard to the question about being able to delete annotations- I have found that even after saving, the annotations can be deleted- so the "paper" trail is questionable. I just tested it again.. annotated, saved, opened with paperport and then I can delete whatever I just added.
