LOL. Amazon.com gets lousy reviews from me on their reviews.

I have not had much of an opportunity to use Paperport. I will say that even though Adobe allows one to use its product on two PCs, it is still much more expensive than it needs to be. That is if you buy it legally. And, Leslie's right in that it is a bit cumbersome. I think it would be very helpful if you used it A LOT and if others had security certificates, etc. to make it worthwhile on the security end.
I have just mortaged my house so I could use the equity to buy Adobe 9.0 Pro Extended. It got really good reviews from CNET and other review articles. It's supposed to be incredible so I will be getting back. In fact it is so incredible, I think you could live in it, so I don't have to worry about my house.
I will leave Paperport to Leslie, the bonafide expert.
