Hi all, just wanted all to know that Windows 10 works well with AC 8.2.5. Haven't tried it with earlier versions.

The back story: I saw everyone in the office was getting the free upgrade to Windows 10 notices on their workstations. Dubious of Windows upgrades and not in the mood to troubleshoot stuff, I urged all my staff to please ignore the messages and to please not upgrade their computer. Well, sure enough, just like you don't tell a kid to please not eat the delicious ice cream cake sitting right in front of them, it happened. One of my staff "accidentally" upgraded her computer. Fortunately, everything seems to work well. However, I was concerned about how long the upgrade took when I tried it at home on my personal computer. Be prepared for a 1-2 hour process of lost wages!

Yours,
Dave

8.2.4 works well with Win10
MedFX (the one that AC bought the rights to their PM program) DOES NOT work with Win10!
I don't know about ACPM

Thanks Wendell. That will avoid a lot of headaches.

Is it possible to go into properties and run it as a previous OS? And, this is just the main computer?

I am sure it is just the main, but wanted to get all the info out there. So, as always, if you are running Windows 7 or 8.1 on your most important computer, should just leave it be?
