Hi Bert. We've never used Medware but we did use our billing software scheduler for a while. It had a lot more functions than AC's but ultimately, we switched back to AC. It's just easier because many times, we have to check the patient's past encounters (or other notes) while making the appointment. I hate having to manually block appointment times in AC but it was too much trouble to keep switching between 2 programs. We do not use the checkin/check-out buttons in. We do use the appointment verified button so that the name shows up bold in the schedule. Also we have a dummy provider so we're looking at 2 columns: one for well visit and one for sick.
