I would love to be able to push out 'patches' e.g., incremental updates. I tested that when I converted the installer to use InstallShield, right around version 7. However, there are some hurdles to overcome.
- Our development & build method is not conducive to patches since every file gets 'touched' on every build. So a patch would require changes to all files.
- Delivering changes to meds & codes databases as a patch is more difficult
- I recall some issues with some files not patching correctly - I forget now exactly what files were involved.
