I may have jumped the gun a bit as the lag time is much less now since the reboot compared to the Dragon 11 lag time.
I am using the new user profile created as you suggested in the booklet you provided with the purchase of the Dragon 2 upgrade. This booklet was(is)quite helpful.
My beast is a Z400 Workstation Xeon QC W3520 2.66Ghz/8MB/4MB 1X500GB SATA/DVD SM DL/ GigNIC/W7P64 with 1TB WD Velociraptor SATA 6GB/s3.5" Internal Hard drive-64MB Cache
I also checked with my partner who uses SSD in his server, and very little lag time with his setup.
