While our company endorses and recommends the use of solid-state hard drives for reliability reasons, the only perceivable advantage of an SSD is a quicker launch. Dragon Medical runs completely in RAM so shorter hard drive access times will not help. In other words it?s not the SSD that is giving you instantaneous dictation responses. It?s a combination of the right hardware, sufficient RAM, good sound system and of course, good dictation habits (the most important ingredient).
