Crestondoc:

I played with Amazing Charts for about six weeks, totally messed up all the templates, and entered all kinds of ridiculous nonsense before buying it. There is no limit on the number of free downloads, to my knowledge, so you could break the program into little pieces, if you were able, and always get a fresh copy.

When I bought my own copy of Amazing Charts, I actually did uninstall the test version, and did a completely clean new install to contain my real patient demographic information.

(Of course, I immediately re-created a couple of bogus patients to try things out on. That is actually a very good thing to have).

The Amazing Importer is the tool we get to import demographic files. It is very straightforward to use, as long as the demographic database you are importing is clean and orderly.

My original was not. The demographic file I received from my billing company was a mess, and needed a lot of clean-up. I used Microsoft Access to put it back into place, and it was really not that difficult to do.

Once you have done that, everything pretty much ports straight across.
