yes, you can correct the meds that way, but if you follow the normal flow this is an issue.
You need to correct and update meds first, then write new Rx:. If you go back to the med box afterwards, before your note is signed, and update the med list again, the new medication that you wrote after the visit will appear in this box and your note will be confused...it will appear that the pt was on the medication at the visit, but wasn't.
This wasn't like this before and is really more complicated then it should be!
