I am sure we will be forced one day by the United Stated Federal Government and Congress located in Washington D.C. I believe this was the method put forth by Thomas Jefferson, but it was vetoed by the president at the time.
Not Jefferson, it was John Locke: "whenever the Legislators endeavour to take away, and destroy the Property of the People, or to reduce them to Slavery under Arbitrary Power, they put themselves into a state of War with the People, who are thereupon absolved from any farther Obedience."
