One consideration has to be moving away from MYSQL to SQL 2008 and a Web based client.
Where did you get MYSQL from? And, most people on here don't want an ASP model.

Nate, why do you keep using megs instead of GBs. I don't mean to be picky but others read the board.
I am not sure if you are referring to my post, but my answer to you was based on a client machine, not the server. You certainly don't need 4GBs of RAM on a client.
