So, after much deliberation, I've decided that we're going to upgrade the server. It's something that really needs to be done anyway.
I will be building this server with:
Intel Core-i5 Sandy Bridge.
16GB DDR3 1600 RAM
Intel P67 MOBO
2x 1TB WD Cavier Black drives in Raid 1
Some other minor bells and whistles.
Total cost of the server will be $1032.50, thanks NewEgg.
In the mean time, though, I'm going to move the database over to a newer computer in the office and use it as the "server" until I can get this up and running.
I'll let you guys know how well this works.
