I am not surprised with your server unexpected crashes and unbearable waiting time.
My suggestion is too much headache to go backward. How about ask your doc to move forward to 6.0.10 but the first step is upgrade your server. Take your old server offline and put in a new win7 4-16 gig memory.
Pentium dualcore E5200 is obsolete per version 6.
Minimum memory req for server is 4 Gig.
Even you can take one of your Win7 and make it server as a test run. Install full AC on this and copy over your enc backup files and run a restore on the test machine.
You can do this test in less than 1 hour.
