As I have expressed to Bert, I think IMH is a program with great promise that fails in application.
I have been distressed with the location it chooses to insert some data, and so far I don't know how to fix it. Too much information goes into the “chief complaint” line for easy review, for instance. I would like to be able to customize where information gets inserted into AC.
There is also too much “verticality” to the data fields: for instance, you might get a line that says “Duration:” and then a line break and a new line that says “two weeks”, and then a double return, and then another line of text. This adds up. Very quickly, your data is extending off the visible field of the HPI. That's fine for the printed version, but it is inconvenient for me to review in the data entry screen. I would like to see the format of inserted data change to conserve space in AC.
Also, I don't care for all the templates, and I have not figured out how to edit templates yet. Truthfully, I haven't had hours to spend figuring it out, but the fact that I need hours to figure it out says something.
