John, "Connectors" were running on 2 different computers in the office, the server and the "lab" computers, for reasons unclear to me; perhaps enabled by the staff by accident.
On Monday I made sure that only the server ran the connector. I also called the phone company and had them call forward the fax phone number directly to Updox (as recommended by someone on this post) Result: very few duplicates which I attribute to the fact that the hospital sends out a preliminary result then a final "signed" report.
