Have been using Updox for 4 months and really like it. No more paper faxes/burned out fax machines/excessive toner use, etc.
However, I get 4500 faxes per month and 1/4 to 1/3 are duplicates or when imported into ac as a single report sometimes shows up twice. As you can imagine this really wastes time and quickly fills up the patient's import box in AC. Updox claims the faxes ( sent from multiple sources) are being sent twice. The senders stamp the faxes with an date/time stamp and swear they are only sent once. My receptionist has imported a single fax only to find a duplicate (2)show up in AC. Any thoughts?
