It is possible to TREAT 2 patients at once, but you cannot have 2 CHARTS OPEN at once in AC.

I see siblings together all the time, you just have to be sequential in charting. That might be a good thing as it decreases the likelihood of cross charting, but I would rather be able to open 2 charts at once as well.
