I have a laptop in my office and sometimes take a wireless tablet to the exam room usually to show labs to a patient or communicate with the deaf. I have slowly adjusted to having one or two charts open at a time, but can only change them rapidly with dragon thru a macro. One of my PAs uses two computers, but the other does fine with one. I find long encounters to need the second computer to do quick work on other patients or sign off notes or lab (mild multitasking)
