On the main AC page - select e prescribing - will bring up newcrop screens - on top will be link that says Pharm __, etc. You can view this and see list of refills pending - the rub is that you have to open each pt chart - open scrip writer, hit new crop screens, hit pharm__ again and then open each scrip to refill (if you hit accept with 0 refills - it will do one). Then close and go to next pt. This is very time consuming - AC is still working on this workflow and I expect they will get it done within the next 4-6 weeks, but you know how that can go. The reason I was told is that Surescrips requires AC to have you review all of the pt. scrips before refilling one to make sure you have addressed interactions, etc. I have suggested that e refills come in as e-mails attached to pt. chart and then you could just open e-mail....hopefully some method that is good will be developed.
