When I first transitioned to e prescribing I got a few that did not go through - now they all essentially work (knock on wood - hate to say that and have it fall apart). I have a few pharmacies that give an error and do not allow me to send - AC says that is an error which will be corrected with next release.

Refills sent electronically by the pharmacies are still a problem, but the lead software engineer at AC says they are working on this and hope to get a good workable solution that will help, not hinder our workflow - just have faith.

I think if you are really worried about where you sent them you should just type it in the comment section - eg Walmart, 5ht and main, etc. I don't worry that much - if the pt. calls and says it didn't go through I just have my staff find out where and I send it again. Really has rarely ever happened and I send a lot of e prescriptions.

E prescribing is such an improvement and I think it will only get BETTER.
