Other question is for those of you who are using erx- are the pharmacies getting them reliably and does AC- give any proof that the script was sent to the pharmacies?
My outgoing eRx is working fine. You get no confirmation the that Rx has been sent, except that the window closes. Click the drug name and choose the "History" button below to display what are the dates each drug was prescribed. It doesn't save the pharmacy name (which would be nice), so I enter that in the "Comments" are when writing the eRx.
To check incoming renewals from pharmacies you must open the patient's chart, then the prescription writer window, then "NewCrop screens" under the drop-down ePrescribing menu at the upper left of the window.
Any ideas why clicking on the medication area in the current encounter opens the new different medication list rather than the regular prescription window- how are people using it?
It allows you to correct the current meds while generating the encounter. Not as useful as the prescription writer. And it seems slow to me when searching for drug names.
