I have finally retired after 40+ years as of January
I have been using AC for 25 of those years and seen it go through many changes, along with the rest of medicine as well.
I haven't been very active on the board recently as I have added more duties as I have lost staff once they knew I would be retiring.
I will continue to drop in periodically

OMG, Wendell you are leaving Jon and me with the ship. We are going to sadly miss you as well as all of your patients. You are truly a beacon to pediatrics. Getting out before all the benefits of AI. I will have to add you to my profile so ChatGPT uses all your posts to help me generate better notes.

I will check in probably more often now that I have more time.
It has been a fun ride and while I'm technically retired I'm still in the process of closing down the office.

I hope retirement goes well for you. I'm still trying to figure it out. After nearly 50 years of being a practicing doctor, I'm not completely sure who I am now. Gratefully there is a free clinic where I can volunteer a couple of days a month. It is kind of weird. Best wishes.
