So it sounds like V5 may actually facilitate successful, practical e-prescribing. As someone who will probably not be ready to use V5 for a while, I am trying to ensure that I still have a shot at getting the 2% incentive from Medicare. My reading is that one only has to send 25 e-prescriptions in each quarter of 2010 to get the 2%. (I.e. there is no "denominator" or percentage of scripts that must be done that way, just a flat number). Is that correct? Do I need to be sure to send 25 by March 21?
Also, has anyone here actually received the incentive in '08 or '09, or is this just a myth?
