Has anyone found a useful way to look at, within the note, the last few INRs, especially in rlationship to warfarin dose? We use Quest (no interface yet, but I don't think that will be the answer anyway) and do some POS Pro-times. When I'm looking at today's INR result, I like to know how it compares to the prior, not just the absolute number, but also considering if the dose was changed.
How about searching patients who are overdue and who have not had a pro-time(either Quest or POS) after a certain amount of time?
Thanks

Bert, how come we can't just post an Excel flowsheet on the Helpful Downloads page? A picture's worth a thousand words -- (another cliche, sorry).

Not sure if this is enough but see my reply to your A1c's question. It should at least help. Let me know....

Ok I know one can use Excel (if one knows how to use it...) I'd like something far simpler that shows up within the progress note. I like the way the AC progress note looks when printed out so I try to send that when I refer a patient, or if the patient is seeing another provider.

Have you looked at my post about the diabetes patients and the tracked items in the summary page yet??? This may be enough of what you are looking for....

Dudes,
I use an Excel spreadsheet.
It's very helpful.
Anybody want it?

Hello Everyone,

I came in today looking for this same information. I've read and read about using excel spreadsheets, but I really don't see how it will help.

I would love a picture, a video (Camtasia anyone?) or something to make this more understandable to those of us who are not as excel savvy.

I already use a spreadsheet to track all the diabetics at a glance, and really wanted to avoid doing that with INR's (lots of duplication). I use the tracked data, but again, it only gives me numbers.

I really want to see a digital version of a flow sheet.

Thanks,

What kind of spreadsheet do you use for your diabetics, Rainy?
