Updox is getting too expensive and unreliable.
Does anyone know if our virtual Fax phone number can be ported to another carrier?

The general rule is that any number associated with a business that you are paying for can be ported.
I can contact Updox support and confirm that is true with their phone numbers

Before you switch, suggest you contact Meg Bahr, Updox Practice Support Manager (telephone: 614-798-8170 x2, support@updox.com). I complained about cost and they have a new pricing structure, unlimited user accounts and auto fax bundle increases or decreases, depending on monthly usage. Saved me some money.
