Given that Houston is in the central time zone, just 1 hour earlier than the East Coast; is the easternmost population center in Texas; and is no more than about 200 miles west of the population meridian of the USA, I have difficulty imagining this as 'Southwest.' Flight time from San Francisco to Houston is almost identical as SF to Chicago. This is sited for the convenience of those who are not users like me in the actual West USA.

I would love to have a truly West conference. I'd like to see it in San Fran, Anaheim, or San Diego. That would give our families cause to sample all the wonders of Fisherman's Pier and the Chocolate Factory, Disney, or the Sea Life Center and San Diego zoo. (While we work and learn, of course)

I believe the most recent AC regional conference was in Anaheim, April 29-30, 2016.

Chris,
We are planning San Diego for Spring 2017. Jon is bring fresh B-More soft-shell crab.
Work, learn, collaborate. Which may or may not include local sites.

Jon Squire will be joining us in Tahoe this fall if you would like to join us again. Most folks are coming to see Leslie though. ;-)

San Diego is always a hit with the kids, as is Anaheim. Of course the adults like the crab!

Hi Chris.
We actually tried doing an Amazing Academy in Anaheim this year at the end of April. There was very little interest after marketing and we had to cancel the event. We do plan on trying again next year if we have enough users.
Dr Wolffe's suggestion on renaming the Academy's to be lest confusing is being considered. Historically we have followed the naming of the PriMed event we are attached to. But we can look at renaming them to be city specific (aka: "Amazing Academy Rosemont" would be our next event coming in October, vs calling it "Amazing Academy Midwest"). Thank you for this feedback.
