I am a bit late to finding this "hidden" aspect of Amazing Charts. I have never wanted more CME because I get more than enough by making use of Up To Date chronically & persistently every day, which I cannot say enough about. At the end of each month or two I tabulate my CME's and print up my CME certificates. The nice thing about Up To Date, being embedded in the education tab of AC makes it very accessible and useful at point of care learning. So I never thought much about the Prime Med Online Education, because I really didn't need any more CME points.
But recently however, I have discovered how easy this resource is to use, and how different than Up To Date. The online presentations are much more passive, so when you have a few minutes of down time, can listen & learn. And then pick right up where you left off if something comes up. So really a great complementary type of learning compared to Up To Date, and being landlocked and far from most convention hot spots, a great, easy way to learn with some of the best presenters around. Feel a bit like a dry sponge soaking up some water, since my discovery of this great way to learn.
For those familiar with the Prime Med Online Education, any favorite topics or presentations?

A follow up on my initial entry, finding some really great nuggets of practical information, but one of the better ones thus far is the "Perioperative evaluation and management of the Cardiac Patient in Non Cardiac Surgery." found under the topic of Perioperative Medicine.
