New patient -> On 15 meds -> Double click 'Current Medications' -> Voice transcribe first medication name and dose -> Transcribes in a fraction of a second -> Transcribe 2nd med name and dose -> Takes 5 seconds before the name appears -> Same delay in every single medication afterwards (unless the text box is closed and reopened again)! (Same with the Allergies text-box)
I am not sure if this is a Dragon issue or AC. I guess if the first one goes through promptly, it is not a Dragon problem.

Zak,
Are you dictating locally onto your computer or over a network such as Citrix? If you are this is probably a network issue but I can't be 100% certain. You may want to incorporate a workaround such as the Dictation Box (If you use the Dictation Box, you can place your cursor inside the network EMR and say ?transfer text?. KnowBrainer 2016 includes additional transfer commands, that utilize NotePad, which is notably faster.)which shouldn't experience this latency. You can test my theory by dictating into DragonPad. It dictation is always quick, it's probably a network issue.

That has happened to me in version 824. Beta 9 seems more responsive so far.

Hi Tom, Direct into AC -> Current Medication text box -> Add/Remove Medication -> Med Name. Try it. Dictating into Dictation box, close and open (as I do) may be work-arounds but the issue still remains. Glad to hear that the Beta 9 is responsive.
